A Greenville man has been sentenced to nearly two decades behind bars for domestic violence and multiple other charges. The 13th Circuit Solicitor's Office says 31 year old, Markise Antwan Sullivan pleaded guilty after his trial started to charges of 1st degree domestic violence, resisting arrest, lewd exposure, and a weapons violation.
Court records say, the charges came after an incident in 2023 in which Sullivan attacked a woman, grabbed her and dragged her out of her home. A Greenville County Deputy responded and saw the injuries the woman sustained.
Sullivan has been sentenced to 19 years in the South Carolina Department Of Corrections.
