Holiday season is here and if you're anything like me, you love a good Christmas pop-up! There's so many fun and festive things to do in the ATL, so check the list below and get ready to have a little holiday fun!
1. Atlanta Christkindl Market at Buckhead Village
I saw this German holiday market on TV and it immediately was added to my holidays activities list! This market will be held in Buckhead Village through December 24th. They have 50+ vendors including authentic German food, holiday themed beverages and treats, as well as shopping, live music and more. Be sure to check their hours online before heading over.
2. Merry Grinchmas at Mercantile Social
Mercantile Social in Alpharetta completely transforms into a Who-ville themed bar with Grinch and Cindy Lou Who inspired decorations, cocktails and more.This pop up is happening is now through December 31st.
3. Igloos & Iceskating at Ponce City Market
Ponce City Market has so much to offer you this holiday season, but the most popular and content worthy attraction has to be The Igloos at 9 Mile Station! You have to make a reservation to pop in and enjoy brunch or dinner from the comfort of your cozy, heated igloo with a beautiful view of the city. Igloos hold up to 6 people and they also have rooftop ice skating!
4. Bistro NikoThis is not technically a holiday bar, but it has such a glamorous festive feel so your holiday outing photos are going to look amazing! This place goes ALL OUT with the decor, so if you're looking for a more upscale festive vibe, this is your place!
5. The Blind Elf at The Blind Pig
The Blind Pig in Buckhead becomes The Blind Elf for the holiday season. They serve al a carte options Wednesday-Saturday evenings, and in order to secure a reservation, you must prebook "The Blind Elf Experience" for $74 pre-fixe that includes tax, gratuity, two appetizers, and two specialty cocktails.
6. "The Rink" at Park Tavern
Park Tavern's famous skating rink that offers a beautiful view of Piedmont Park and the Atlanta skyline is back! Skating is available every day of the week, so make sure you purchase tickets online!
7. Holiday Bar's Nightmare Before Christmas Pop-Up
Holiday Bar goes big for almost every holiday, and this year is no different! It's a small bar that has an inside/outside concept, with seating at the bar and at some tables inside along with more seats around the fire pit outside. They're open all day long so you could stop by for a coffee in the morning, or head over a little later and try some cocktails.
8. Tinsel Tavern at Live! At the Battery
Live at the Battery has transformed into a festive, over-the-top holiday experience! If you're a content creator type person, this is the perfect place for Instagrammable moments! It's best to make a reservation online but you can walk in for bar seating on a first come, first serve basis. There are tons of events to check out like a Holiday Karaoke Party, Dancing Elves Silent Disco, and Ugly Sweater Party, so be sure to check their website.
9. Après Ski Holiday Bar at Ranger StationRanger Station is a cocktail bar right above the Beltline's Ladybird that has transformed into a retro winter wonderland inspired by skiing culture. Warm yourself up with a shot-ski on the Beltline and experience one of the most legit cocktail bars in the city!
10. SOS Tiki Bar's Tiki Christmas
SOS Tiki Bar is said to be one of Metro Atlanta's best spots for cocktails! Stop in and enjoy boozy hot chocolate or fun festive cocktails like the Grinch with rum, guava, and coconut or a cool twist on Egg Nog that's frozen with spiced rum, cinnamon, and nutmeg!
11. Virtue Rooftop's Rooftop Holiday Bar
This rooftop holiday bar is filled with holiday-themed cocktails, light bites, a shareable s'mores board, festive tunes, and sparkly Christmas lights! It is a first-come, first-serve spot and there is no cover charge. Because of that, it's best to call ahead as they tend to book up fast for private events.
12. Westside Motor Lounge
Westside Motor Lounge's "Westside Sleigh" pop-up is full of festive fun and a wonderful place for group hangouts.
13. Amore E Amore's Winter Wonderland
This restaurant goes all out with themes every quarter, and it's said that their Christmas pop-up is the best!
14. Drawbar's Holiday Pop-up
Drawbar is one of the places to check out this holiday season! They have fun and festive drinks to enjoy! You can also book the Frosty's Flashback room for extra holiday cheer!
15. Kringle's Candyland at Tight Squeeze Join in the holiday fun at Establishment's speakeasy, Tight Squeeze! This fun Midtown bar has transformed into Kringle's Candyland and you won't want to miss it! The decor is top notch and the holiday inspired cocktails are as tasty as they are beautiful.
16. The Reindeer Room at Pickle and Social Gwinnett Pickle and Social is having their first ever holiday pop-up called The Reindeer Room! Serve up some pickleball fun while celebrating the season in this festive wonderland. The Reindeer Room has a special menu of holiday-themed drinks like Santa's Eggnog, Mistletoe Margarita, Rowdy Rudolph, Scrooge You, and Grinch Mimosa. The Reindeer Room will be open Thursday – Sunday from 6pm-11pm, 21+ only.
