Some of you may not realize that it's voting time in the ATL! A number of municipal and county races are underway and voters also have the opportunity to decide on two open seats on the Georgia Public Service Commission. This election is important because the people who are voted in those two seats will be in charge of regulating utility and energy rates.

Early voting for Georgia’s Nov. 4 elections, began last week and goes until October 31st. Residents who plan to vote by mail have until Oct. 24 to request an absentee ballot, and then the general election is taking place on November 4th.

If you want to do some research on the candidates and see what races are happening in your county, click here to find your sample ballot.

Again, election Day is set for Tuesday, Nov. 4, and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
