As the Atlanta Falcons begin to prepare for their Week 2 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings, head coach Raheem Morris was not hesitant to point to "missed opportunities" the Falcons had in their season opening loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and why they cannot have a repeat performance in that regard.
"We had the most missed oppsthat we probably could have and we still had an opportunity to win that game," Morris said as he joined 92-9 The GamesCarl Dukes and Mike Bell and shared his thoughts on the Falcons coming up short on various plays offensively and defensively, yet found themselves down by three points late in the fourth quarter before Younghoe Koo missed a 44-yards field goal which have sent the game into overtime.
"If we can clean up some of those things, eliminate some of the missed opps, whether it be dropped interceptions or whether is be sack opportunities that we had, we can do a lot of really good things," Morris said.
