Thomas Mott reviewed the 2021 offseason of the Atlanta Falcons with Monday being the eve of the 2021 Atlanta Falcons Training Camp.

Obviously, this was the first offseason for the Falcons' new regime in new general manager Terry Fontenot and new head coach Arthur smith. Thomas believes that bringing them in was the biggest win for the Falcons in this offseason because it seemed like those were the guys Falcons fans as a whole were highest on.

Thomas also liked what Fontenot and Smith did in the draft, but can’t give them an A+ for this offseason because he believes that “some major holes were not addressed.”

Thomas loves the Kyle Pitts pick, and the depth that was added to the offensive line. Now, Thomas does acknowledge the fact that you can’t address all of your holes in one offseason, especially when you’re a team with many holes like the Falcons. Thomas believes that the Falcons' defensive line, and running back positions are very top heavy and lack depth.

Despite the obvious holes that are still there, Thomas is optimistic that this Falcons team can at least be relevant and competitive heading into the 2021 season. With a dynamic offense led by Matt Ryan, Calvin Ridley, Kyle Pitts, and Hayden Hurst, alongside a young Dean Pees defense that will be blitzing often, Thomas is confident this Falcons team can at the least entertain Falcons fans this season, and possibly even be in the running for a postseason berth.
