Falcons reportedly trade for offensive tackle Wanya Morris
On Thursday, multiple outlets reported the Atlanta Falcons agreed to a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs in which they are receiving offensive tackle, Wanya Morris and a 2027 seventh-round pick and sending the Chiefs a 2027 sixth-round pick. Shortly after the Morris reports, the Atlanta Falcons announced offensive lineman, Storm Norton would be placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list.
“That was definitely one of those things that necessitated that move to acquire Wanya Morris from the Kansas City,” ESPN Atlanta Falcons beat writer, Marc Raimondi said as he joined 92-9 Th Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell and explained why he believes the Falcons acquiring Morris is likely to be a direct result of Norton being placed on the PUP list.
“For the second straight offseason summer, they need depth at tackle,” Raimondi continued as he discussed how Norton’s absence for the second consecutive year has been pivotal in Atlanta having a need for additional bodies in the o-line room.Falcons place Storm Norton on the PUP List
