
Events are being held in Atlanta to honor the life of Rosalynn Carter, wife of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. She died on November 19, two days after going into hospice care following an earlier diagnosis of dementia.
The body of the former first lady will lie in repose today at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum. The public can pay their respects from 6p to 10pm tonight.

Former President Jimmy Carter is expected to attend his wife's memorial service Tuesday in Atlanta. It will be held at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church, which is on the campus of Emory University.
Current U.S. President Joe Biden is also scheduled to attend the service, along with First Lady Jill Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and First Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
All the living former first ladies - Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush, Michelle Obama and Melania Trump - will be in attendance, according to the Carter Center.
Carter's body was driven by motorcade to the Carter President Library and Museum Monday from Plains in south Georgia. She will be returned to Plains for burial.
Jimmy Carter is 99 years old and is receiving hospice care. He and Rosalynn were married for 77 years.
