CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Migrants return to Chicago Police stations previously emptied due to allegations of sexual misconduct.

No victims have been identified in the Civilian Office of Police Accountability’s investigation into allegations made in July. The first allegation was regarding an officer’s sexual contact with an underage female migrant at the Ogden Station in North Lawndale and the other alleged incident was at the Town Hall Station in Lakeview, where an officer was engaging in sexual misconduct with an asylum seeker.

Migrants have now returned to both stations with some safe guards in place. It’s intended that the Ogden Station will house only single men, while migrant families will be sheltered at the Town Hall station.

A spokesperson for the Office of Emergency Management and Communications told the Chicago Sun-Times that reusing the two stations was necessary “because of the rising numbers and lack of space."
