BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) – Fans of the Buffalo Bills are still buzzing over the team's first championship in the AFC East in 25 years, but merchandise to commemorate the occasion is difficult to come by.
Dozens of fans visited the team's store in Orchard Park on Monday morning even before the store opened at 11 a.m. to try and purchase Bills gear.
However, there is currently no product at the team store, according to Store Manager Jason Klein. Klein said the new merchandise wasn't printed until Sunday. The team is hopeful they'll have the playoff gear in the official team store on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Still, that didn't deter many fans from trying to get their hands on the gear. Fans like Shaun and Samuel Moser said they drove to Orchard Park from Massachusetts, specifically for the Bills gear.
"They said they don't have any which is fine," Shaun Moser said. "We can't buy any Buffalo gear in Western Massachusetts, so we're going to buy a bunch of stuff and give it out for Christmas gifts."
The team's online store said they are temporarily sold out of 2020 playoff gear and to "expect major delays in shipping". NFL Shop still has some Bills playoff gear available.
