Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - In effort to expand access to COVID-19 vaccines, CVS Health Monday added 16 additional locations across New York that will administer COVID-19 vaccines.
The 16 newly added pharmacies will receive 19,890 doses of the Pfizer vaccine each week. Erie County is among the counties included in the expansion as are Albany, Fulton, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Schuyler and Yates. Appointments opened today and vaccine administration begins tomorrow.
CVS previously announced in earlier Feb, the launch of 26 locations in the state of NY that will administer the Moderna vaccine, the weekly allotment is 20,600.
There are over 40 CVS Pharmacies in NY state offering COIVD-19 vaccine.
