Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Former Erie County Legislator Betty Jean Grant agrees to an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal in connection with a harassment case. She was accused of filming someone filling out ballots during early voting in October.

Grant was accused of videotaping an elderly woman while she was filling out her ballot during the October 23rd early voting at the Delavan Grider Community Center. Prosecutors said the woman felt annoyed.

The Erie County District Attorney's Office offered a 6-month adjournment in contemplation of dismissal, with the consent of the victim and her family, under the conditions that the defendant continue to her involvement in community service and provide a written apology to the victim. If Grant abides by the conditions, the violation will be dismissed at a later date.
