Clarence, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Erie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal three-alarm fire in the Town of Clarence early Sunday.
One person and four dogs were found dead after a fire on Spaulding Drive at around 2:30 a.m. EST.
A second and third alarm were called due to the size of the home and the
heavy fire conditions.
Four people were inside at the time, and three made it out safely.
10 volunteer fire companies responded.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office is looking for any photos or video of the fire to help in the investigation. Anyone who can help in this regard should contact Detective Scott Kuhlmey at (716)-858-2579.
The fire left $1 million in damage: $700,000 to the structure and $300,000 to the contents.
