Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Luna Lounge in Buffalo is hosting a "Super Bowl Boycott Party" on Sunday after the Buffalo Bills lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Co-owners of Luna Lounge, Cesar Wolsh and Jonathan Crane, say after the Bills loss, reservations were canceling left and right, leaving them wondering if they should even stay open for the game.

"We see all these boycott comments all over online. What if we just did a boycott party? Didn't show the Super Bowl, just showed Josh Allen highlights on the TVs. Have puppy bowl viewing area that everyone loves. Have some drink specials, wing specials, live music. We both loved the idea. We had our buddy cook up a flyer. We post it and we ended up here," said Wolsh in an interview with WBEN.

Since then, they've seen thousands of people online supporting it, many of which are trying to get in on the action.

"We had this band hit us up doing pianos, WNY's Hi-Octane Dueling Pianos, that offered to come play on Sunday after they heard about the party. So now we have a live DJ in one room and then doing pianos in the other which is going to be pretty cool," Wolsh explained. "A bunch of friends that weren't going to come. They're coming now. Everyone's excited about the pianos we're going to be doing. I think it's going to be a great night now"

Crane explains that it's not surprising to see the amount of people that are frustrated with the NFL's officiating and believes it's parties like this that fuel the drive for change.

"I feel like the officials, they're under immense pressure and scrutiny. But it just seems like all these unfortunate calls seems to go in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs, and hopefully the reaction from the nation as a whole is able to drive some change within the league as far as how they address these calls here," Crane said with WBEN.

Festivities on Sunday night begin at Luna Lounge at 5:30 p.m.
