
West Valley, N.Y. (WBEN) – A 32-year-old Springville man has been arrested following the execution of a search warrant at a West Valley residence on Friday.
According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, a search warrant was executed at 5479 Twitchell Road in the Town of West Valley, where both Keith Brown and Christian Burdic were detained without incident. That was where a felony amount of narcotics was recovered from the residence.
The search warrant was obtained during an Erie County Sheriff’s Office investigation into the larceny of legally grown marijuana plants which occurred at a greenhouse located in East Concord.
The larceny occurred back on Sept. 21, where the value of stolen plants taken has been estimated to be approximately $51,400.
Following the execution of the search warrant, two consent searches were conducted at nearby residences, where marijuana believed to be stolen from the larceny was recovered.
Brown was arraigned in the Town of Colden Court and charged with:
- Grand Larceny in the Second Degree (Class "C" felony)
- Trespass (Violation)
Charges are pending against Burdic by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
