Pittsford, N.Y. (WBEN) - This is it.

As the Buffalo Bills prepare for their final season at the current Highmark Stadium and prepare to move across the street to the new Highmark Stadium, the final football games will likely be your last chance to say goodbye to the building.

Bills President and COO Pete Guelli told WBEN on Wednesday there are no current plans to have another concert or big event other than football games at the stadium before it closes next year.

"Not anticipating anything right now," Guelli said when asked about anything else being added to the schedule at the current stadium.

The team's current plan is to "de-commission" the current stadium after the final Bills game this season.

Instead, Guelli said the focus is on bringing a big event to kick off the new Highmark Stadium before the Bills play their first game there next year.

"What we're trying to do now is find the best way to open the new building," Guelli said. "It needs to be tested. Once we close out the regular season and the playoffs we'll start focusing on what that's going to look like and how we open the building. We've got a few things that are kind of in motion right now. Nothing we're committed to, but that's a big building with a lot of things going on and new pieces. It needs to be appropriately tested."

Guelli told WBEN that construction of the stadium remains on track, and the anticipation is that they will have the ability to have it up and running in less than a year.
