Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - You'll feel the difference for sure as warmer weather overtakes the Buffalo-Niagara region.
National Weather Service forecasters say a warming trend will develop Sunday through Tuesday, resulting in a period of above normal temperatures, which will eat away at the substantial snow pack across parts of the Western New York region.
Conditions Sunday will be still-breezy to windy early, but will quickly give way to diminishing winds from west to east today and mostly precipitation-free.
High temperatures Sunday across the region will mostly be in the upper 30's to mid 40's.
Meteorologists are eyeing the potential for lake effect Wednesday and Thursday, with the potential for bands moving northward toward the metro Buffalo area Friday, so stay tuned to the forecast as it becomes clearer later in the week.
