Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - In the aftermath of the historic blizzard that paralyzed Buffalo Christmas weekend, cameras seem to capture the essence of the community better than words.
Much of Monday was all about people helping people, shoveling, plowing and digging out. Images of drivers helping one another and cars emerging from monumental snow drifts emerged as the gruesome news of a growing death toll spread.
Driving bans were lifted Monday in some surrounding towns and communities, but in Buffalo the ban remains as the city streets are still snow-clogged and numerous stranded vehicles remain a barrier between plows and clearing snow.
