NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — They were posted outside the mayor’s Park Slope YMCA, where Mayor Bill de Blasio regularly uses the gym, as well as in the men’s locker room there.
The flyers stated that by entering these premises, you agree not to run for president of the United States in 2020 or in any future presidential race.
The mayor brushed it off.
“It’s a ban on going to the gym if you run for president? Really confused by that,” said de Blasio.
He claimed not to have seen the flyers when he went to the gym.
He said that of people who he speaks to at the gym, many are encouraging, but some have critiques.
