FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WCBS 880) — A man in Fairfield, Connecticut claims a bobcat attacked his 12-year-old son in their backyard Monday.
The father says the cat scratched the boy's finger and tore his shirt, before running off into the woods.
Animal Control officers say surveillance video from a neighbor's home a week ago also showed a bobcat roaming around.
They say it's rare for bobcats to attack humans and that the animals usually run away.
Still, the agency is investigating the incident and searching for the bobcat.
