Yankees great Mariano Rivera wants to expand his emerging car dealership business into new locations in our area.
Rivera is making a pitch to the Town of Brookhaven to allow him to take over a dealership in the village of Port Jefferson.
Newsday reports Brookhaven has given the former Yankee time as they wait for more specifics on what Mo indents to do.
If Rivera scores a win, this would be the all-time-saves leader’s second dealership in the area. He already has a Toyota dealership in Mount Kisco.
