NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Four people suffered minor injuries after a three-alarm fire broke out at an Upper East Side building on Monday.
The FDNY said firefighters responded to the blaze around 3 p.m. that started in a clothing store at 404 E. 63rd St. near First Avenue.
More than 130 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene, which fire officials said extended from the first floor and into a shaft between the two buildings.
The fire then quickly spread to the roof level and into each floor.
Citizen App video showed flames shooting through the roof of the building.
Three firefighters and one civilian suffered minor injuries, officials said.
The cause of the fire, which is now under control, is under investigation.
