NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- The NYPD identified two suspects Tuesday who they believe are responsible for a shooting at a Bronx park last week that left four people wounded, including two young boys.
Police also released images of the suspects—Angel Hernandez, 20, and Mikel Taylor, 16—as they search for them in the shooting last Tuesday evening at St. James Park in Kingsbridge.
According to police, two masked men dressed in black rode a scooter to the park shortly before 6 p.m. The passenger got off the scooter and opened fire into a crowd of hundreds of people before the pair drove off together.

Two brothers, ages 3 and 6, were each shot in the leg, while a 25-year-old man was hit once in the back and a 23-year-old man was shot multiple times throughout his body. They were all taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.
“Everyone is doing well and will recover from their injuries,” NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said at a news conference shortly after the shooting.

The gunfire is believed to be gang-related and connected to a July 5 killing nearby, with the suspects aiming for two men who were standing near the park, police sources told the Daily News.
The two wounded men were the suspects' targets, while the two boys were hit by stray bullets as they walked in the park with their mom, according to the report.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
