NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating after a man died days after he was shot in the head in Brooklyn, authorities said Friday.
At approximately 3:25 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 21, police responded to a 911 call of a man shot at 640 Blake Ave. in East New York.
Upon arrival, officers observed 24-year-old Abdolaye Ba, with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS transported the victim to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on Thursday, August 24.
Police deemed the incident a homicide.
There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
