NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Brooklyn man allegedly stabbed his fiancée to death in their Brooklyn home early Tuesday after accusing her of cheating on him.
Police said the deadly dispute broke out inside their Coney Island apartment on West 20th Steet near Mermaid Avenue about 1:25 a.m.
The 50-year-old suspect stabbed the 44-year-old victim in the neck and torso after becoming enraged over her suspected infidelity, the Daily News reported.
Medics rushed her to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where she was later pronounced dead.
Her fiancé was taken into custody, and police recovered the murder weapon, reportedly a large kitchen knife.
Their identities have not been released at this time.
The suspect was arrested on accusations of choking the victim in June, according to the report.
An investigation is ongoing.
