HICKSVILLE, N.Y. (WCBS 880 ) -- A woman is facing charges for multiple assaults that occurred during an arrest on Long Island Monday night, authorities said.
Just before 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance at a Hicksville residence located on Harding Avenue.
Upon arrival, officials were notified by a woman complainant that she was having an argument with a family member.
Rosa Sanchez, 18, then approached the officers and became physically combative, according to detectives.
Two officers sustained injuries during the arrest as Sanchez was violent and combative while resisting arrest.
The two injured officers and Sanchez were all transported by Nassau County Police Ambulances to a nearby hospital for assessment and treatment.
Sanchez was charged with two counts of assault and resisting arrest.
