NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — As more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine get into arms, two office supply chains are stepping up to help Americans protect their proof of vaccination.
Staples and Office Depot are offering to laminate COVID-19 vaccination cards for free.
Staples is offering the service at all of its locations in the U.S., a spokesperson told CNN.
Business Insider reports the offer is valid through May 1, but CNN reports it does not have an end date.
Office Depot is offering free laminations in-store only at its Office Depot and OfficeMax locations through July 25.

Once a person is fully vaccinated against the virus, they receive a vaccination card showing proof of the shot and the date when it was received.
The CDC strongly recommends keeping your vaccination card and encourages taking a picture of it as a backup copy.
New York last week rolled out the Excelsior Pass app which generates a QR code that venues can scan to verify a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination prior to entering events.
