Keith continued his plea to the Giants to start over at quarterback during Thursday’s show, and says Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll would be hitching their jobs to Daniel Jones otherwise.
“Daniel Jones is not their guy,” Keith said. “I’m gonna keep saying it. They didn’t choose him.
“They will be on the hottest of seats. We know how many generational coaches are floating around. We talk about Bill Belichick, Pete Carroll, Mike Vrabel, and there’s gonna be even more of a coaching carousel next year.”
With potential replacements looming, Keith says it’s time to show ownership that a potential franchise quarterback is on the rise by drafting Jones’ replacement.
“I cannot put my eggs in the Daniel Jones basket,” Keith said. “That basket is barely holding up.”
