The Rangers honored one of their greatest to ever take the ice, retiring Henrik Lundqvist's No. 30 before Friday night's game against the Wild at Madison Square Garden.
Lundqvist made his entrance onto the ice to the familiar chants of "Henrik" from the MSG crowd before his No. 30 was lifted into the rafters alongside the 10 other Rangers who have earned the honor.
Lundqvist took time to thank the Garden crowd that supported him for 15 years, and watched him break over 50 franchise records in one of the most accomplished careers in Blueshirts history.
"I miss you guys," Lundqvist said to the crowd to begin his speech.
