Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Neither of the Buffalo Bills' starting cornerbacks practiced on Wednesday, the first practice after the team finalized its initial 53-man roster on Tuesday.
Tre'Davious White, who left last Friday's practice with a leg injury, wasn't on the field in any capacity, while Christian Benford, who also left that practice early but said he was fine after, worked off to the side on an exercise bike.
Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir was back on the field for the first time since suffering an ankle injury on Aug. 1 at the "Return of the Blue and Red" open practice at Highmark Stadium.
Wednesday also marked the return of safety Jordan Poyer and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips to the Bills. Both veterans re-joined the team by signing to the practice squad.
