Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Tommy Doyle will be out for the entire 2023 season, head coach Sean McDermott announced on Sunday.

While McDermott did not disclose the specific injury, Doyle injured his left leg during the third quarter of the team’s 27-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night.

LISTEN LIVE TO WGR:

Doyle tore his ACL in his right knee in Week 3 this past season, which cost him almost the entirety of the 2022 season, as well.

The injury makes the Bills even thinner at tackle after Brandon Shell announced his intention to retire last week.

McDermott also says quarterback Matt Barkley is day-to-day with a right elbow injury, and tight end Dawson Knox should be back at practice on Monday when the team holds it’s walk-through. Knox was held out of Saturday's game with a finger injury.
