Von Miller suspended four games for violating NFL's Personal Conduct Policy

The Bills pass rusher will be eligible to return to the lineup after Buffalo's Week 8 matchup with the Seahawks

Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills will be without one of their veteran pass rushers for the next four games.

It was announced on Tuesday that Von Miller has been suspended four games, without pay, for violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy. The news was first reported by ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Miller he not be available to suit up for the Bills until after their Week 8 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

According to ESPN Bills beat reporter Alaina Getzenberg, the suspension stems from allegations of assault against his pregnant girlfriend last November during the team's bye week.

Miller turned himself into police in suburban Dallas, Texas on charges of domestic violence after he was accused of assaulting his longtime girlfriend, who was pregnant with their child and the mother of their other children. The count of Assault of a Pregnant Person that Miller faced is a Third Degree felony in the State of Texas.

More than a month later, while addressing the Buffalo media, Miller said the allegations against him and the details of the incident were "completely wrong and blown out of proportion."

Through the Bills' 3-1 start to the 2024 season, Miller has been able to accumulate five total tackles and three sacks, which is more than he had all of 2023 as he came back from a torn ACL suffered during the 2022 campaign.

To fill the void on the Buffalo roster, the team has announced the signing of defensive tackle Zion Logue from the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad.

The 23-year-old was a sixth-round pick of the Falcons in the 2024 NFL Draft out of the University of Georgia.

The 6-foot-6, 325-pound defensive tackle accounted for 17 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks in 10 starts with the Bulldogs in his 2023 campaign. He was also part of the teams in 2021 and 2022 to win the College Football National Championship.
