A photoshopped picture of Kyrie Irving in a Lakers uniform set the NBA world on fire Friday all because LeBron James pushed the “like” button on Instagram. What a shocking turn of events! Who knew James liked the idea of reuniting with Irving? Oh, that’s right, it’s been pretty clear for a while — even before Irving mended the fence — James is open to playing with his old point guard again.
I like how this feels

May 24, 2019 And just because James has this crazy influence once you sit down with him in a meeting, as Magic Johnson put it (perhaps in a more polished manner), that means Irving will be compelled to go to the Lakers. Now, Irving and James were seen at a nightclub in Los Angeles last Saturday, according to Jordan Schultz of ESPN. But since when does one night at the club equate to both parties agreeing to give their relationship another try? Given Schultz also reported James went to another club with Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis on Wednesday, it sounds more like the King is looking to have a good time.
One more notable trio: LeBron dined with Russell Westbrook — and Anthony Davis — at Nobu Malibu on Wednesday.

May 24, 2019 In all seriousness, the clubbing and the Instagram drama seems a little less relevant when ESPN’s Jackie MacMullan is now reporting Irving is out on the Lakers, after she previously stated that door could still be open.
“I did a little digging around and my feeling is very strongly that while LeBron and Kyrie have kissed and made up, that Kyrie is not going there," MacMullan said on Friday’s “Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective” podcast. "He’s just not. I just don’t believe it. And I think people close to him don’t believe it either.”
Plus, Irving supposedly isn’t a big fan of cameras being stuck in his face. Los Angeles seems like the last place to live if cameras are a problem for you:
