The Boston Bruins blew past the San Jose Sharks Tuesday night at TD Garden 4-1, but what is really getting a lot of attention is the fight that occurred in the middle of the third period.
San Jose forward Evander Kane took a shoulder to the face from Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara and was clearly not happy about it. Kane immediately went after Chara, initiating a glove-dropping fight with the 6-foot-9 defenseman. Not a good call on his part, because the fight was one-sided in favor of Chara, with Kane barely able to get a punch off. On top of that, Kane received an instigator penalty and was ejected from the game.

February 27, 2019 On Wednesday morning, TSN's Pierre LeBrun tweeted that there would be no hearing for Chara's hit, meaning no supplemental discipline.
A short time later, Kane tweeted a gif of the “Three Blind Mice” with no caption, apparently alluding to what he believes is a missed opportunity to discipline Chara. The tweet currently has over 300 replies, the majority of which are gifs of people crying or telling him to “take the L and move on.”
