Even though the Patriots are playing Monday night, they moved up the standings in the AFC on Sunday.

With Baltimore's loss to the Steelers, the Patriots will go into Monday night's game against the Bills as the No. 1 seed in the AFC at 8-4. Both Tennessee and Baltimore have 8-4 records, but the Patriots are 6-1 in the conference so they own the tiebreaker.

No matter what happens with Kansas City (7-4) against Denver Sunday night, the Patriots will keep the top spot because of their conference record.

The AFC standings continue to be extremely bunched with every game meaning a lot.

With a win over the Buffalo Monday, the Patriots will keep the No. 1 spot. But with a loss, the Bills would take over first place in the division and the Patriots would fall all the way back to the No. 5 seed heading into their bye week.

Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. Monday.
