According to court documents, retired Patriots safety Patrick Chung was arrested by Milton police on Monday.
Chung was charged with assault and battery of a family/household member. Police also say he vandalized personal property as well.
The 34-year-old is due to be arraigned Tuesday in Quincy District Court.
[UPDATE 1:25 p.m.]: According to Meghan Ottolini, Chung was released by the Commonwealth on $10,000 cash bail after pleading not guilty to charges of assault & battery on a family member/household member and vandalism. He'll be back in court Jan 7, 2022.
In 2019, Chung faced a felony charge of cocaine possession after drugs were allegedly found in his home in Meredith, New Hampshire. The charges were dismissed a few months later.
On the field, Chung opted out of the 2020 season because of COVID-19 and then announced his retirement last March.
