The Bears are looking to fill both their general manager and head coach spots over the next few weeks, and may be looking to one member of the Patriots for one of them.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bears have requested permission to speak with Patriots scouting consultant Eliot Wolf.

Wolf is in his second season with New England and played a big role in the draft this past May. Obviously, the Patriots had a great draft landing impact players like Mac Jones, Christian Barmore and Rhamondre Stevenson.

The 39-year-old Wolf was previously with the Packers from 2004-17 and then was the Browns' assistant general manager for two years.

New England lost a key member of its front office in Nick Caserio last offseason with Dave Ziegler being promoted to replace him as the director or player personnel.

The Patriots will take on the Bills this weekend.
