FOXBOROUGH -- Prior to training camp, N'Keal Harry requested a trade through his agent.

Obviously, a trade never happened and now that he's returned from injured reserve, Harry has carved out somewhat of a role within the offense. Still, some thought the third-year player could be traded at the deadline this week if the right deal presented itself. But that did not happen, either.

On Wednesday, Harry was asked if he's happy with how everything has played out.

“Yeah, I’m a Patriot,” he said. “I said it earlier, I want to do anything I can to help this team win. That’s my focus.”

Harry added: “I wasn’t worried about anything trade-wise.”

The wide out is coming off his best game of the season against the Chargers when he finished with two catches for 30 yards.

“N’Keal’s got a way of just rolling with the punches,” fellow wide receiver Jakobi Meyers said. “He came in here with high expectations. A lot of people would say that he probably didn’t live up to them, but he’s still coming to work every day. He works to be the best man that he can be. To go hard. He works hard in practice. I’m going to always be proud of N’Keal, and the fact that he’s going out there and making plays now, it’s just happy to see. Especially since we came in (to the league) together.”

The Patriots will take on the Panthers this Sunday.
