Orchard Park, NY (WGR550) - On Monday, it was reported the Buffalo Bills would be losing pending free agent backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky to the Tennessee Titans.
To fill the void, they are reportedly bringing back one of the same backup quarterbacks who was on the roster when Trubisky left to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers for a couple years before returning to Buffalo.
Kyle Allen was Josh Allen's backup in 2023. He saw the field in seven games, but did not attempt a pass in the regular season.
He's started 19 games over eight seasons with six different clubs.
The Bills have also reportedly agreed to a new deal with their punter for the majority of last year, re-signing Mitch Wishnowsky.
