A meeting last night brought out members of the community and local officials, to discuss reconstruction plans for one portion of Interstate 80 in Monroe County. The three mile stretch of road goes through the borough of Stroudsburg. Some spoke for the plan which would improve traffic flow, while others were against it saying it's not necessary, the construction would cause more congestion and asked officials to scale back the project. The plan would remove two exits into downtown Stroudsburg and business owners who spoke feared it would hurt their businesses.
