PennDOT has rescheduled the closure of Route 435 southbound due to inclement weather for the project to replace the twin bridges along Interstate 84 in Dunmore. It was scheduled for today. Weather permitting, the closure has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 30. PennDOT will be closing Exit 2 (Elmhurst) to Route 435 southbound from Interstate 84 eastbound in Dunmore. A detour will be in place. Route 435 southbound will be closed through the fall of 2024.

Bridge inspections may cause delays this week in one part of Luzerne County. PennDOT says there will be lane restrictions on Market Street between Wilkes-Barre and Kingston daily between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. through Friday Dec 1. The work will be weather dependent, and rain could delay the inspection progress.

On Wednesday There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound from Exit 191 A (Dickson City) to Exit 191 B (Scranton Expressway) in Lackawanna County for cable services. According to PennDOT Work will take place from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
