One thing many locals are addicted to is garage sales. Some have already started. The huge annual yard sale event that is 150 miles from New Baltimore to Caseville is along the coastline of lake St. Clair River and the Huron River.
Yard Sale Trail has become a great tradition and is fun even if nothing is purchased because of the views. I've attended but often said let's cruise over to the water. Even though it's not until the second week of August put it on your calendar. More here.
