HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC) – Law enforcement is investigating after officers were dispatched to a Hartford address Saturday morning on reports of a two-year old suffering from burns to the feet and lower legs.
The mother reported the juvenile was burned during a bath earlier on Friday. The child suffered from second degree burns and was taken by ambulance to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
The Hartford Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the scene and the Department of Children and families was also notified.
Hartford Police detectives are now investigating the incident.
