Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Waterbury are investigating a Sunday afternoon homicide.
Just after 4:30 p.m., officers responded to an area outside 2 Kenyon Street.
That's where they received a report of a 22-year-old male victim with several gunshot wounds lying in the roadway.
Police say the victim was unresponsive when they arrived and he was subsequently rushed to St. Mary's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim's name hasn't yet been released and officers say they're still trying to determine a motive for the shooting and are seeking suspects.
