Isabel Martinez saw her grandfather -- 67-year-old Wilfredo Martinez -- die violently: "His eyes went through. It just went back. And from there he died in my cousin's and my arms. He wasn't breathing and had no pulse."

Allegedly, at the hands of his son -- 42-year-old Luis Martinez -- she tells WFSB Channel 3: "He was drunk. He was really intoxicated. And then the fight started. He had a stick. And then with the stick, he beat him to death."

Now, Luis Martinez is being held on a $1 million bond, charged, so far, with assault.

Isabel Martinez is torn between grief over losing her grandfather and anger toward his accused attacker, her relative: "I hope he rots in jail. Like that's not right. Your own blood. That's messed up," she said.
