NEW CANAAN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Friday, May 24, 2024 marks five years since Jennifer Farber Dulos disappeared from her home in New Canaan back in 2019.

Although her body has not been found, a probate court judge declared Dulos legally dead in October of 2023.

Jennifer's estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, became the primary suspect in her disappearance and presumed death. Fotis committed suicide in January of 2020, after being charged with murder in the case.

Since then, Fotis' estranged girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, has been convicted on all charges she faced in the case. She faced a total of six counts of the basic murder conspiracy, evidence tampering, and hindering prosecution charges. Troconis, who denies any involvement, faces up to 50 years in prison at sentencing in Stamford Superior Court on Friday, May 31, 2024.

Another alleged co-conspirator and former Fotis Dulos friend, Kent Mawhinney, has yet to stand trial. He also denies any involvement in the case.

The family and friends of Jennifer Farber Dulos issued a statement through family spokesperson, Carrie Luft.
