Hartford, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-Trinity Health of New England, with four hospitals in Connecticut has named Montez Carter, PharmD, FACHE, President and CEO, replacing Reginald J. Eadie who accepted a Senior Vice President position with Trinity Health in Michigan.
Carter started his career as a pharmacist and then transitioned to hospital leadership positions out of state. He holds a doctoral degree in pharmacy and an MBA.
"With his board knowledge and firsthand experience, Montez has unique depth and
perspective in all areas of hospital operations, including clinical services, performance
improvement, and high-quality patient care and safety," said James C. Smith, Chair,
Board of Trustees, Trinity Health Of New England. "These qualities, coupled with his
demonstrated commitment to our Catholic Healthcare Mission, make Montez the ideal
successor to current esteemed CEO Reggy Eadie, who has been promoted to oversee
other activities at Trinity Health. Montez will lead our regional health ministry's
executive team, engage broadly with our caregivers and support our continued growth."
