(WTIC Radio) - Danbury police are investigating a murder-suicide.
Police responded to an apartment on Griffing Avenue around 7:24 a.m. Monday on the report of a needed crisis intervention.
Police say Dheraldy Caldeira, 29, of Danbury, is believed to have killed a 21-year-old woman by stabbing her to death before taking his own life.
Investigators say they have learned the two were in a domestic relationship.
A toddler, found at the scene, did not have any apparent physical injuries.
Danbury Police say that they will not be releasing names of the deceased woman or the child, due to disclosure laws.
