BRISTOL, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Bristol Police arrest two men in connection with an alleged human trafficking and prostitution operation.
Police say it was January of 2024 when they began investigating reports concerning the business "Aqua After Dark" at 1235 Farmington Avenue in Bristol.
An investigation with undercover operations determined that David Henderson, 63, and Vincent Whiteley, 64, allegedly ran the business.
Police are now charging Henderson with trafficking in persons, permitting prostitution, conspiracy at trafficking in persons, and second-degree conspiracy at promoting prostitution.
Whiteley is charged with conspiracy at trafficking in persons, and second-degree conspiracy at promoting prostitution.
Both men are being held on a $250,000 bond, each.
Bristol Police are thanking the Connecticut State Police e Statewide Organized Crime Investigative Task Force for their assistance with the investigation.
Saying it is determined to combat illegal prostitution operations in the city, Bristol police say anyone with information about criminal activity can leave that information at (860) 585-TIPS (8477).
