Waterbury, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police in Waterbury have identified the victim of a weekend hit-and-run crash.
According to investigators, Jose Medina, 78, of Waterbury, was struck by a vehicle on East Main Street Saturday night.
The call came in around 8:44 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle fled without stopping, police said.
Medina was pronounced dead at St. Mary's Hospital early Sunday morning.
Investigators are looking for a dark colored SUV, possibly a RAV 4, with front end damage.
