(West Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - West Hartford police have made a pair of arrests stemming from a January abduction in town.
Police are charging 20-year-olds Jalen Faucette-Smith and Teesa McElroy, both of New Britain.
They say on January 28, the 21-year-old victim was taken at knifepoint as he walked along Boulevard from Trout Brook Drive.
According to police, the suspects drove the victim to multiple locations where his ATM card was used for illegal purchases.
He was released the following day in Hartford after being held at an undisclosed location, suffering minor injuries.
Both suspects were apprehended Monday.
They're each facing multiple kidnapping, conspriacy, robbery and other charges and are each being held on $750,000 bonds.
